Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Departure

Staying at Kigali Serena Hotel

Fly to Kigali, the Rwandese capital. On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to the luxurious Kigali Serena Hotel located in a quiet part of the city for an overnight stay.

Day 2 Kigali - Parc National des Volcan

This morning, you will be met and transferred to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, which contains an exhibition of the Rwandan genocide. In the afternoon, you are transferred to the boundary of the Parc National des Volcan where you check-in to the wonderful Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge where you will stay for the next three nights on a full-board basis.

Day 3 Gorilla trek!

Day 4 Golden monkey tracking!

Day 5 Parc National des Volcan - Lake Kivu, Gisenyi

Day 6 Lake Kivu, Gisenyi - Nyungwe Forest NP

Day 7 Chimp tracking & forest waterfall walks!

Day 8 Rwenzori (Angola) colobus monkey trek & canopy walk!

Day 9 Nyungwe Forest NP - Kigali Airport
