Mushara Lodge

Tucked away amid lush lawns and groves of purple pod terminalia trees, Mushara Lodge is a superb base from which to access eastern Etosha. It is just 8kms from the Von Lindequist Gate which offers access to some of Etosha’s most beautiful and bountiful areas.

With just 14 rooms it is small for an Etosha Lodge, making it the perfect place to get away from it all and really enjoy some privacy and peace in between game drives. The rooms are nicely spread around the grounds and very comfortable inside, with flagstone floors, mosquito net draped beds, indoor sitting areas and covered verandas at the front where guests can relax in the afternoons. The main area of the lodge is a lovely space with a lounge, dining room and welcoming bar area where you can congregate and share tales of days exploring the bush. The food is excellent and a real feature of Mushara Lodge, whilst the small curio shop is perfect for picking up any bits you need for the remainder of your trip. Out in the garden a sparkling swimming pool and sundeck is the perfect place to spend the afternoon soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a cool drink or two.

With its easy access to the eastern part of Etosha, Mushara Lodge is ideal for keen safari goers who want to drive themselves in to the park and enjoy the amazing wildlife viewing. They also have their own guides at the lodge for escorted safaris in the park – the choice is yours.
