Feitoria Boutique Hotel is a relaxing hotel, which offers an escape from the stresses of daily life located on the idyllic shores of the Ilha de Mozambique. The hotel incorporates a mixture of traditional architecture and a dash of modernity in the form of brightly coloured facades. The Portuguese term ‘Feitoria’ denotes its interesting former life as a busy trading warehouse during the island’s colonial past so staying here you can feel part of a bit of history.
The accommodation comprises of 20 rooms, which all have en-suites, air conditioning and satellite TVs. Certain rooms have balconies. Also, all throughout the hotel Wi-Fi is available. A notable feature is the peaceful courtyard at the heart of the hotel with a swimming pool shaded by palm trees and other tropical vegetation. Concerning cuisine, on offer there is an exciting fusion of local and international dishes, sure to please everybody staying.
On the crescent shaped island, there is a plethora of things to do all within easy walking distance due to its compact size. Ambling through the streets you can appreciate the former Portuguese trading buildings recognised by UNESCO World Heritage site. Whilst on the magical island why not visit the museum, churches and mosques.
