Kicheche Mara Camp

Set in a beautiful acacia valley overlooking the Olare Orok stream in the Mara North Conservancy, completely unfenced, the property is in a prime wildlife conservancy. It has the feel of a mobile camp. It’s simplicity really works, offering a genuine bush experience. In fact, game viewing frequently starts in the camp itself! A classic luxury bush camp with an intimate and relaxed feel. The modest and comfortable tents at Kicheche Mara Camp have been designed to impact little on the surrounding environment and animals often wander through the camp unabashed.

Kicheche Mara Camp has just eight tents. This is an intimate and personal experience. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet, hot safari shower and low wattage lighting supplied 24 hours. Triple and Quad family tents (one double and two single beds) are also available. The camp lounge has a stunning view down the valley and offers comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts.

Join a walk with an experienced guide, a morning or afternoon game-viewing drive with a maximum of four people per vehicle, and then get together in the evenings to swap tales over expertly prepared cuisine. The food is a combination of African and international dishes. You also have the opportunity for trips to local Maasai villages and Aitong market.
