Ol Lentille

The lodge sits in over 40,000 acres of stunning hills with incredible views over northern Kenya and down to Mount Kenya. The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille is a leading edge conservation tourism partnership between a Masai community, donors, and private investor. With the sacrifice of a full one third of their grazing area for conservation, the community has been able to enter the tourism business. The business finances the conservancy, and provides an income to the community to improve lives and livelihoods.

Four fabulously luxurious fully-staffed full-service houses are available either individually or as exclusive use of the whole property. The lodge can only accommodate up to 14 adults across the stunning four villas (plus six children) - exclusivity doesn’t get any better than this. The accommodation is configured with; The Chief’s House, African contemporary style, three bedrooms/sleeps six; The Sultan’s House, Swahili style, one or two bedrooms, sleeps two to four; The Eyrie, African Retro style, one bedroom, sleeps two; The Colonel’s House, Campaign style, two bedrooms, sleeps four. They also boast a library, spa and pool, and enjoy wireless access to the Internet.

Ol Lentille offers lots of activities including doing nothing in inspiring surroundings, conservation and community work, horse riding and camel trekking, mountain and quad biking. Ol Lentille also offers game drives and walking – day and night, bush breakfast, lunch, dinner & picnics and last but not least boules and croquet. Importantly your stay is designed to be restful, guests aren’t woken up at 5.30/6am for the first activity (unless they want to be) – instead you have a full nights sleep and have a private breakfast in your villa at the time of your choice and then do the morning private activity of your choice.
