Found deep in the wildlife viewing paradise of the Moremi Game Reserve, Camp Moremi is beautifully sited overlooking the fabled Xakanaxa Lagoon and offers one of the best value experiences for visitors looking to spend time in one of Africa’s most iconic areas.
There are 11 standard safari tents as well as a two-bedroom family tent at the camp, all of which are raised up on decks and sited to take advantage of the camp’s views out over the lagoon. Inside they are all very spacious and comfortable with stacking glass doors that open out on to large private decks where guests can relax in the afternoons. Bathrooms come with all of the amenities one could need and there are small indoor sitting areas as well. The main area of the lodge is home to a cozy lounge area, the convivial bar and dining room where guests can share drinks, meals and their tales of days exploring the bush. An outdoor decking area can also be set up for meals when the weather allows. The swimming pool and surrounding deck is one of the most endearing features of the lodge and a great spot to sit back in the afternoons, relax and soak up the sunshine.
Being in the Moremi Game Reserve means that the wildlife viewing is incredible, especially predator sightings, which draw visitors here from all over the world. Morning and afternoon game drives are the staple of the experience here, but they also offer boat trips out on Xakanaxa Lagoon when the water levels allow.
