Camp Linyanti

Camp Linyanti is located deep in the north-western corner of the Chobe National Park, on the river-border between Botswana and Namibia. One of the celebrated features of this camp is its private location, its own wilderness situated away from the seasonal crowds of the Chobe River.

The rustic accommodation at Camp Linyanti accommodates up to ten people and is open 1 May to 30 November. It sings of traditional safari, blending in with the environment and keeping things simple, yet elegant. There are five individual canvas tents, including one honeymoon tent, elevated slightly from the ground with stairs leading onto private wooden decks, and up to the interior of these unique, circular tents. The main lodge has extensive wooden decks that overlook the bulging Linyanti River and the floodplains beyond it. Meals can be served on the deck for a dining experience with the birds and whatever animals happen to be passing by.

General game viewing at Camp Linyanti is conducted in open-air 4-wheel drive vehicles, which traverse the riverine forests and lush terrain. Due to the area's abundance of water, the camp has added a 'swamp cruiser' to its game viewing fleet, which takes guests out on boat trips through reedbeds and channels. The camp is a beautiful two-hour drive from Saile airstrip, which can be reached by light aircraft in 45 mins from Maun or Kasane airports.
