Where dreams become reality and summer never ends

Location
Summer Island Maldives is tucked away in North Malé Atoll, just a 45-minute speedboat ride from the capital. Set on the private island of Ziyaaraiyfushi, it’s a place that feels wonderfully relaxed and unpretentious, with soft white sand, calm lagoons, and the kind of barefoot charm that makes the Maldives so inviting.

Rooms
Accommodation is designed to be simple yet stylish, with a strong emphasis on comfort. You’ll find beachfront rooms shaded by palms, water villas perched above the lagoon, and spacious garden rooms surrounded by greenery. Interiors are light, fresh, and contemporary, with splashes of colour and plenty of natural textures to bring the outside in.

Amenities
There’s an easy-going choice of dining, from buffet-style international favourites to à la carte specialities with ocean views. A pool with a sun deck, tranquil spa, and beachside bars mean you’re never far from somewhere to unwind. Guests love the warm service and welcoming atmosphere, which makes the island feel like home within days.

Activities
The resort makes the most of its setting with plenty of water-based activities: snorkelling straight from the beach, diving excursions, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Sunset cruises and dolphin-spotting trips bring memorable moments, while yoga and fitness sessions add balance to the days. The house reef is a highlight, offering easy access to colourful marine life just steps from shore.

Sustainability
The island is home to one of the Maldives’ first 3D-printed coral reefs, alongside ongoing reef restoration projects. Solar power, reduced plastic use, and eco-friendly practices in daily operations all reflect a commitment to preserving its beautiful natural surroundings for the future.

January

January is one of the most popular times to visit the Maldives, with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures its great for a beach holiday - if you love snorkelling and diving the visibility is high thanks to the calm weather conditions.

February

Much like January, temperatures in February stay at a steady 30 degrees, the combination of beautiful weather conditions and good watersports making it a great time to visit, especially if you love sea life.

March

March experiences high temperatures and low humidity levels, making it the perfect time for a beach holiday.

April

April is another great month to travel, with sunny, warm days. During the end of the month there is an increased risk of rain.

May

Temperatures in May remain warm with long periods of sunshine, but with the start of the South West Monsoon season rains and storms are likely. The unsettled weather, means there is lower visibility, so diving and snorkelling isn't as good as previous months.

June

During June, temperatures remain warm with sunny days. With the chances of rain and storms increasing it gives guests a perfect excuse to explore the islands' spas and facilities.

July

The South West Monsoon season continues into July, meaning rains are probable despite the warm sunny days.

August

Weather remains the same in August, and the lower prices and attractive offers make it a great time to visit.

September

Weather remains the same in September, and the lower prices and attractive offers make it a great time to visit.

October

As with preceding months, warm temperatures and sunshine are balanced with increased rain showers and storms. During October is a great time to spot whale sharks and manta rays as they come to feed on the increased plankton in the Indian Ocean.

November

As with preceding months, warm temperatures and sunshine are balanced with increased rain showers and storms. During November is a great time to spot whale sharks and manta rays.

December

Early December can present good value for money before the festive peak, as with previous months the weather can be unpredictable with increasing storms and rain showers.
