Getting there: Inter-island flight from Mahé to Praslin and then road - approx. 30 minutes, OR; inter-island boat from Mahé to Praslin and then road - approx. 1 hour 20 minutes.

Staying here you will be you will be in one of the best places on Praslin, located in the beautiful south-west region of the island, right on Anse Bois de Rose.

There is a choice of 22 standard rooms, 18 superior Rooms at Coco de Mer & 12 Black Parrot Junior Suites (children under 14 are not allowed to stay in the Junior Suites)

You have the use of 2 onsite restaurants and a bar, which features live entertainment several times a week. If you like to eat locally there are restaurants a short drive away.

The two magnificent pools, one in the unique shape of a Coco de Mer nut, overlook the Indian Ocean and the other – perched on a granite outcrop with fabulous views of the ocean – at the Black Parrot Junior Suites. Complimentary – private bus shuttle transfers to the famous Anse Lazio beach are available to guests several times weekly.

For a change of scenery, you can either stroll or use the hotel’s bicycles to access the many private sandy beaches and coves that dot the coastline.

Prevailing winds and tides can cause a build-up of seaweed during certain times of the year (typically, from time to time during the May to October period), however, you still have access to ample sun-bathing areas; large sand-terraces; palm tree strung hammocks, and sun loungers.
