We think Palawan is one of the most breathtaking places in the Philippines — and possibly the world. Known as the “Last Frontier,” it’s a paradise of limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and untouched beaches. If you’re craving nature in its purest form, this is the place.

Island-hopping in El Nido is a must. We’re always awestruck by the hidden lagoons and postcard-worthy beaches of the Bacuit Archipelago. Over in Coron, you can dive haunting WWII shipwrecks — a surreal and unforgettable experience. The Puerto Princesa Underground River is another highlight. Gliding through vast, echoing caves by boat feels like stepping into a different world.

Palawan’s food scene is fresh and full of flavour — think seafood grilled right on the beach, coconut-based curries, and adventurous bites like kinilaw (Filipino ceviche) or tamilok (woodworm, for the brave).

Snorkelling and diving here are spectacular. Apo Reef and the UNESCO-listed Tubbataha Reefs are teeming with marine life, from reef sharks to neon corals. On land, you can hike Taraw Cliff for views over El Nido, go caving and ziplining at Ugong Rock, or meet rescued wildlife at the Palawan Conservation Centre (the bearcats are adorable).
