Chundukwa Lodge is situated on the north bank, with beautiful views of the Zambezi River just 25km upstream from the Victoria Falls.
Chundukwa has just five rooms and is built in a local style that blends perfectly with its quiet surroundings. Each of the thatched chalets has been built on stilts with uninterrupted river views. The en-suite rooms are very comfortable with double / twin beds with walk-in mosquito nets. The main lodge has plenty of space to relax whilst there is also a lovely plunge pool overlooking the river. The lodge takes pride in offering great home-cooked food, incorporating the freshest Zambian produce to give the cuisine a local twist.
This is a game-rich area and sightings of hippo and elephant are common whilst there is also an abundance of plant and bird life. Create your own bespoke itinerary from a range of exciting activities including sunset cruises, cultural village tours, speciality bird walks, white water rafting, visits to the Falls, fishing, helicopter trips and White Rhino safaris or venture out on a horseback safari on one of the horses stabled at the lodge.
