Location
Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge sits on the shores of Lake George within Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda, near Kahendero Fishing Village. The lodge enjoys sweeping views across the lake towards the Rwenzori Mountains, offering a peaceful base surrounded by wildlife-rich savannah and wetlands. Its location provides easy access to key park attractions such as the Kazinga Channel and the Kasenyi Plains, both renowned for exceptional wildlife viewing.
Rooms
Accommodation consists of around 10 stand-alone cottages, designed in an African style that blends naturally with the surrounding landscape. Each cottage features an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold showers, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, and private verandas overlooking Lake George. Room categories include single, double, triple and family cottages, making the lodge suitable for couples, families or small groups travelling together.

Cultural visits to local fishing communities around Lake George can also be arranged, offering insight into life along the park’s shoreline.
