Kisampa is a private community conservation sanctuary that adjoins the unique coastal Saadani National Park
Kisampa is set on a ridge looking south over the floodplains of the Wami River. The camp was established to provide a way for the local community to develop a skill based economy whilst protecting their beautiful surroundings.
There are six thatched bungalows at Kisampa, they can accommodate up to 14 guests in total – keeping your experiences personal and intimate. Each room has a double bed, hammock and table and chairs. The private bathrooms are all unique, with a bush showers hanging from the nearest tree, they are all open to the stars.
Due to the location there is limited game watching around the Kisampa camp, however it is only a short drive to Saadani National Park. Other activities are in abundance, from walking and canoeing trips, to camping under the stairs on Sima beach. There are lots of bird watching opportunities in camp and visits to the local village are actively encouraged.
