Ikuka Safari Lodge

Ikuka Safari Lodge is known for its luxury and guests are treated like royalty from the very first moment that they are collected from the airstrip. Ikuka Safari Lodge is located approximately a 40-minute drive from Msembe airstrip in Ruaha National park Tanzania. The camp is set high on the escarpment which means from the moment guests wake up they have beautiful views that overlook the Mwagusi river.

The accommodation is made up of six spacious and comfortable tents which all face the valley, the rooms have 24 hours electricity and hot water as well as a large super-king bed – all rooms have a large private balcony. (Ikuka is powered by solar panels which means the silence is undisturbed).

Being in Ruaha national park means that this camp offers the perfect opportunity for guests to see the wildlife. The camp has game drives which leave early in the morning then return at lunch time, guests can indulge at the buffet (prepared by two camp chefs) and cool off in the infinity pool complete with stunning views. The game drives will then go out again and return in the evening for dinner. Not only does Ikuka have game drives they also have walking tours where guests can see all the little things which the drive might have missed.
