A stone’s throw from Jaffna town, Fox Jaffna is situated in the village of Kokovil. The old bungalow has four well appointed suites while the new wing comprises six blocks, each with four rooms. All residential spaces are beautifully decorated in keeping with the colours and landscape of the peninsula, with spacious and minimal design, and paintings occupying pride of place. The rooms are well appointed and complemented with comfortable beds. Fox Jaffna is spread over three acres and boasts a swimming pool and restaurant, which serves a variety of dishes including local and western cuisine. Their signature dishes are the Kool soup, Jaffna crab curry, garlic prawn curry and the mutton pooriyal. Guests are encouraged to indulge in the Jaffna rice and curry which is cooked to a traditional recipe and is second to none.

Jaffna is filled to the brim with sights and experiences that are unique to the region. A city tour of Jaffna, excursions to Casurina beach, Delft Island and Nagadeepa temple along with many more, are highly recommended. The hotel also hosts a weekly cultural night with exotic and colourful dances that embody the vibrant spirit of Jaffna.
