Visiting tea plantations and gardens are of course a highlight of a stay in this part of Sri Lanka, and there are numerous walking trails or drives that you can enjoy from Camellia Hills. Tea factory visits can also be arranged, where you'll get to learn about production, and of course do a little tea tasting at the end. Other activities include walking to a nearby waterfall (don't forget to take a picnic with you!), or a boat ride on the reservoir to see Warleigh Church, built in 1878 by the British.
