Each of the 8 villas have been strategically built in natural clearings so as not to disturb the jungle and its inhabitants. The rooms are spacious with lots of light which makes it feel like you're immersed in the world of nature around you. All rooms have comfortable double beds with en-suite bathrooms that open to the skies and give you a sense of being at one with the wilderness.
Whilst staying at the Wild Grass resort you can choose between traditional Sri Lankan or Western cuisine with all dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients from their in-house organic farm, or from nearby local villages.
Apart from being a good base from which to explore the Cultural Triangle, guests can also indulge in a unique tea picnic up on a rocky outcrop with views for miles around. Or join in with a session of tree planing if you're keen to minimise your carbon footprint.
