When you travel to Dharamsala, the Indian home of the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan community, Chonor House is undoubtedly the best place to stay. This hotel has traditionally been the first choice for international celebrities and dignitaries visiting the Dalai Lama.

When staying here be sure visit the many Buddhist monasteries and temples, enjoy the shopping and many restaurants, learn about Tibet at the museum and library, or trek up to the snow line at Triund, where overnight camping can also be arranged.
