Wonderfully positioned in stunning tropical gardens along the Turtle Bay Marine Park

There is a choice of different room types, suites and a Villa to stay in. All of the bedrooms enjoy sea views, many also have generously sized balconies or terraces, complete with sun loungers. The interiors are bright and airy. The hotel's reception offers wonderful views of the sea and the gardens. WiFi access is available in all rooms and public areas.

This private 25-acre estate dates back to the 18th century. A lovely river runs through the lush grounds and into the lagoon making it a great place to have a wander through the grounds.

This high quality, All Inclusive resort is a great choice for all the family, with an excellent choice of sports activities, a golf course and you can visit the horses at the hotel's wonderful equestrian centre — and be sure to stop by the giant tortoise park on your way.

Enjoy the choice of dining options, from international buffet to 'feet in the sand'-style dining, Asian delicacies, and traditional cuisine. La Marée Beach Restaurant is the place for to enjoy seafood on the beach as the sun goes down. For a special treat, indulge in a meal at LaKaz Kreol, or visit the hotel's Château Mon Désir (both at a supplement).

You can simply relax by the pool or on the beautiful beach, and when you feel a little more energetic you can partake in the many sports activities available. These include water skiing, hobbie cats, tennis, sailing and canoeing. Turtle Bay is the first Marine National Park in Mauritius with a well-preserved underwater life. There are excellent snorkelling areas right off the beach. A nine-hole golf course has free green fees for all hotel guests. A large gym is available.

When you have done all you can, why not check into the Spa to help you get into that relaxing mood again. Listen to the sound of cascading waterfalls and island birds while enjoying your choice of traetments. With a total of 12 treatment cabins, a dry massage pavilion, a hair salon, a stunning relaxation area behind a romantic waterfall, a state-of-the-art wet area (including whirlpool, sauna and hammam) you will be transferred into a realm of tropical beauty and wellbeing.

Children's activities are provided through the kids'club. Available for ages 3-11, it offers a good variety, including fishing and snorkelling. Babysitters are available on request (with 24 hours notice) for a small fee.

There is a taxi shuttle to Grand Bay and Port Louis (alternate days).
