Since its inception, the resort has planted over 10,000 trees, significantly enhancing local biodiversity and attracting various wildlife species. The design of the retreat incorporates raised pathways and narrow walkways to minimize disruption to the natural landscape. Additionally, Avana has eliminated single-use plastics by purifying and bottling water on-site, reducing CO₂ emissions. The resort also supports the local community by employing over 90% of its staff from nearby ethnic villages.
