Kichanga Lodge is in the Michamvi area on the southeast coast of Zanzibar Island. This peninsular is more remote than other spots on the island, giving the bay a more undisturbed, exclusive feel. Kichanga Lodge uses an open-plan style in its public areas and provides a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere ideal for a tranquil holiday away from it all.
The 23 rooms at Kichanga Lodge include six Garden Bungalows, 11 Ocean View Bungalows, five Villas and one Honeymoon suite. All the rooms are spacious and decorated in a traditional, unfussy style. Towards the beach, there is a substantial swimming pool and a boat-shaped bar and on-site spa.
Kichanga Lodge provides lively beach and water activities such as beach volley-ball, kite surfing and scuba diving. With the lodge as a base, you can easily explore Zanzibar’s main attractions: from Jozani National Park to the bustling markets of Stone Town.
