Busanga Bush Camp

Busanga Bush Camp is small, charming and unpretentious. The limited accommodation creates a secluded and exclusive experience, which could be hired privately for families or groups of friends. This camp is operational only between 1st June and 31st October, due to the changing scenery - when the floodplains dry out over summer you can experience magical photographic opportunities to catch the mist rising at sunrise and equally incredible sunsets.

The four en-suite rooms are built of reed and canvas, furnished with lovely large beds and doors opening out onto fantastic views of the floodplains. The lounge and bar area form the heart of the camp and meals are frequently served in the open air, when the weather permits.

At Busanga, you’ll explore this fascinating area on day and night game drives and walking safaris led by qualified guides who are passionate about the area and its wildlife. The game viewing is generally at its best and most varied when the plains dry out (around June through October). However, there are several prides of lion which are resident year-round, and they have become well known for their tree climbing abilities! For those interested in birding, the park boasts around 500 recorded species, and include such ‘specials’ as Wattled and Crowned Cranes, Fulleborn's and Rosy-throated Longclaws, Lanner Falcon and large flocks of Open-billed and Yellow-billed Storks. For guests interested in seeing the wildlife pass by from above, Busanga Bush Camp offers hot air balloon safaris.
