A great location for chimpanzee trekking in Tanzania

On a stretch of secluded beach

Kungwe Beach Lodge is the perfect blend of comfort and luxury in a romantic setting.

With the jungle covered mountains in the background and the white sandy beach in front, Kungwe Beach Lodge is a great location both for Chimpanzee trekking and relaxing on the beach.

There are 10 safari rooms on site, nestled into the treeline of the forest. All are built on raised decking with beautifully thatched roofs. Inside each room there are four-poster double or twin beds with mosquito nets, en- suite bathrooms with flush toilets and walk in showers.

The primary activity at Kingwe Beach Lodge is chimpanzee trekking, which is simply stunning – if you are willing to walk, the chimpanzee encounters are phenomenal. If you are looking for more that Chimpanzee’s then on a gentle boat safari down the lake you may encounter crocodile, hippo and otter as well as an abundance of birdlife. Kayaks are available for exploring the lake or you may choose to simply relax on the beach.
