Ants Hill and Ants Nest both offer a unique and different safari/ holiday experience. Ideal and possibly one of the best safari holidays that families can have as both lodges specialities in looking after families and making sure everyone has plenty to do including the very young children. The Ants Collection lodges are an easy 3 hour drive from Johannesburg and we can arrange road transfers or flights if you prefer.
The first thing that is very different is that chilren of all ages can go out on safari with their parents, and there are lots of other activities just for the 'kids' so they will never get bored, they can go on special child friendly ponies and the very young will still be able to ride just around the lodge grounds. Babysitting is also available so the adults don't miss out either. You can do game drives and walks, horse riding with lessons if needed, fishing, rhino tracking, mountain biking, archery, visits to a BIG-5 area can be arranged for game drives.
Rooms and suites come in all sizes catering for couples and friends right up to families where 6 can share. Dining is always a pleasure and such an important part of your stay, you will be eat in various locations throughout the camps, in the bush, by the pool, around a fire in the boma, in a romantic private location.
