Kwandwe Ecca Lodge

Isolated from the provinces’ other reserves, Kwandwe offers the ultimate in luxury and privacy in one of the most scenic and wildlife rich parts of the region.

Ecca Lodge is their family-friendly offering, allowing safari-goers of all ages to enjoy the majesty of the bush from the surroundings of one of the country’s finest lodges. There are 3 Suites and 3 Family Suites, all of which are very spacious and comfortable, raised up slightly to offer stunning views out over the reserve. Private decks come with their own plunge pools which are especially welcoming in the heat of summer afternoons. The decks can also be set up for private dining, perfect for those looking to celebrate special occasions. Inside the rooms are vibrant and colourful, with locally sourced fabrics, comfortable furnishings and plenty of space. The couples suites have their own small indoor lounge areas, whilst the family suites have larger sitting areas with day beds which are converted for children to sleep on at night. The main area of the lodge commands stunning views out over the bush and has plenty of space for guests to escape one another, even when the lodge is full. An outdoor decking area leads down to the sparkling swimming pool with both areas perfect for soaking up the afternoon sunshine and staff are always on hand to serve drinks. The food is excellent and, being a family friendly lodge meal times can be adapted to suit the needs of younger guests.

Game drives and walks are the focus of the activities at Ecca, with all guests in the family suites benefiting from their own ranger and vehicle, meaning they can plan their safari times without impacting other guests. A special children’s’ programme will also allow younger guests to have a very rounded experience of the bush and allows parents the time to head out and enjoy game drives with their guide.
