The luxurious Bayethe Tented Lodge offers an authentic safari experience. Surrounded by rich vegetation and constructed of stone, thatch and canvas, beautifully appointed tents have their own private decks and plunge pools and enjoy outdoor showers, fireplaces and hammocks. The views over the waterhole can be admired whilst relaxing in the lounge or outdoor deck and pool. Delicious meals are served in the dining room or in the boma, under African skies. Appreciate morning and afternoon game drives or walks and perhaps browse in the boutique or rejuvenate at the bush spa. In collaboration with the Born Free Foundation, the Big Cat Rescue and Education Centres are situated within our game reserve. They aim to draw attention to the plight of wild cats, confined in impoverished, captive environments throughout the world.
The game viewing drives are available for morning and evening trips, as this is when the animals are most active. Our vehicles are open and comfortable and give you a panoramic view of the area. You’ll be guided by a trained game ranger who’ll take you and your party through the reserve, encountering many animals along the way.
