Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival and Safari Drive

Staying at Ngaga Lodge

Fly privately from Brazzaville to Mboko airstrip (approx. 2-hour flight), landing in Odzala-Kokoua National Park. Upon arrival, the Kamba team will greet you and start your adventure with a 2-3 hour safari drive through savanna and rainforest to Ngaga Lodge, your home for the next four nights. That evening, gather around the fire with your guide for a conservation and gorilla tracking briefing, preparing you for your upcoming treks. Relax with guided activities, all meals, and drinks included at Ngaga Lodge. Three gorilla tracking permits are part of your 10-night journey.

Day 2 Gorilla Tracking Begins

Your adventure kicks off with the first of three gorilla tracking experiences in the Ndzehi Concession, a prime area for Western Lowland Gorilla sightings. Expert guides will lead you through the closed-canopy forest, sharing insights about this incredible species. Spend the afternoon exploring the lush rainforest, discovering its rich biodiversity through guided walks. End your day with a relaxing sundowner back at Ngaga Lodge.
