Canyon Lodge

The hillside lodge, which is built around some massive boulders and a rocky outcrop, offers four room categories- 25 twin, two family, one single and two triple rooms. Its 30 stone chalets are comfortably furnished with stone interior, wooden features and comfortable beds. Each has an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath (depending on the room type).

Stone pathways from each chalet lead towards a large main area with individual tables and central fire pit. Outside the dining room is a spacious veranda where guests can dine and take in the very unusual, the rocky surroundings. From the sparkling pool guests can enjoy views across the countryside.

Guests can enjoy hiking trails through remarkable surroundings in the company of knowledge guides. The camp runs multiple hiking tours to places such as Gondwana Canyon Park and up nearby mountains. Self-guided hikes are also an option. A popular activity is an excursion into the Fish River Canyon area where there are some world class hiking trails.
