Vilanculos Beach Lodge is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago. The lodge itself offers friendly service, excellent food, a secluded beach and beautiful bungalows built of natural wood and thatch.
The relaxed and stylish accommodation comprises 22 bungalows and one presidential suite set in tropical gardens, all of which have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and great views of the beach. The infinity pool has superb, uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean providing a tranquil place to cool off from the sun. The restaurant offers a tantalising array of traditional Mozambican, Portuguese and International cuisine.
The Vilanculos Beach Lodge can arrange a variety of excursions for you to enjoy including scuba diving, fishing and sunset cruises around the Bazaruto Archipelago. The beach in front of the lodge provides an idyllic setting for swimming, kite surfing and sea kayaking. There is also the opportunity to go horse riding along the white sandy beach, which is a must for any equestrian bucket list! After all the activity and adventure, you can spend time simply lounging on the beach or by the pool, soaking up the warm sun and tropical atmosphere.
