Nestled amongst sand dunes and coconut palms on the coast of the Inhambane Province, Massinga Beach Lodge is located on an endless stretch of golden beach with uninterrupted views out across the sparkling Indian Ocean. All the chalets have private decks to make the most of the breathtaking sea views the Ocean Front Deluxe rooms have their own splash pools, perfect for cooling down in the hot weather.
Food here is fresh and local, and the beach bar and pool are perfectly located at the edge of the warm sea, ideal for sipping sundowners and lazy afternoon swims. There's a pool table and dart board for those who want to spend time on site, as well as surf boards and beach games such as volleyball, cricket and football. Staff can demonstrate coconut cutting, and massages can be arranged on your own private deck. The beach is perfect for bike rides at low tide, and snorkellers will enjoy the Fingers Rock formation which is perfect for shallow off-shore exploration. Ocean safaris, deep sea fishing and scuba diving can also be arranged, as well as tours to Massinga and Inhambane.
