Situated on the southern tip of Tofo point, 22km from Inhambane, Casa Barry Lodge has been built with direct access to Tofo’s main swimming beach where you are just a few steps away from the warm Indian Ocean. The total area covered by Casa Barry is 13 acres, and the buildings have been designed in traditional reed and thatch that reflects the natural surroundings.
Casa Barry Lodge consists of 27 rustic, thatched bungalows, with an array of options and facilities to suit every guest, including self-catering. All of the accommodation is built on the beach with varying distances to the shoreline, but suffice to say it’s not far away! The restaurant provides an array of cuisine – from pasta dishes to fresh seafood with the day’s catch.
Casa Barry is a magical destination for diving and snorkelling. It is particularly famed for the manta rays and whale sharks which reside in the bay all year round. Fishing and tours of the Inhambane estuary are also great excursions to take during your stay.
