Baia Sonambula is located in Praia Tofo, near Inhambane, on Mozambique’s south-eastern tip. It’s slightly elevated position means it has some of the most spectacular views of Tofo Bay on offer. Whether it is to take in the sights of the Indian Ocean on a romantic honeymoon, or experience the waters for yourself with a diving course, Baia Sonambula provides an ideal setting for a paradise getaway.
Baia Sonambula accommodation consists of four sea-view bungalows and two garden rooms within the main house. All the rooms are stylishly yet simply furnished with large, comfortable, king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. The bungalows also have their own terraces and large bay windows so you never lose the stunning ocean view. A central kitchen is provided for all the guests to prepare uncooked meals, while bars and restaurants are all at a walking distance from the lodge.
You can tailor your experience at Baia Sonambula to suit your desires. The various excursions on offer include ocean safaris, horse riding, quad biking and visits to Inhambane and Mocucune island. The nearby dive centres also provides opportunities to get up close and personal with an amazing array of marine life and coral reefs.
