Segera Lodge lies, which is nestled between the glorious Mount Kenya to the east and the Great Rift Valley to the west. Conservationist Jochen Zeitz has created this extremely exclusive destination for fun, adventure and peace, where absolute luxury and bespoke service has created your Kenyan home away from home. With strong eco-initiatives, and super extravagant accommodation, this lodge is very impressive; all bases covered for romantic escapes or family holidays.

The eight villas, accommodating two or four people in each are set on a working cattle ranch, surrounded by 50,000 acres of preserved wilderness. They still have all the comforts you could wish for, including huge bathrooms, oversized beds with billowing mosquito nets. Each villa has a personal Villa Attendant to look after you during your stay. Fresh ingredients are sourced from Segera’s own herb & vegetable gardens.

Alternatively, for an experience of a lifetime, built alongside a river teeming with wildlife, the NAY PALAD Bird Nest offers a unique concept of nesting and sleeping like a bird. Set above the ground, with a 360 degree birds-eye-view of this beautiful wilderness. With one fully-equipped bathroom, the NAY PALAD Bird Nest is technically designed to sleep two guests, but a cosy family would also be welcome. Venturing away from the Segera camp is a beautiful African wilderness offering a whole world of experiences and memories – a classic safari adventure with a vast range of wildlife sightings and landscapes. In a safari experience reminiscent of ‘Out of Africa’, visitors to Segera enjoy a wide range of personalised activities in a landscape diverse with savannah grasslands, waterfalls, rivers and woodlands.
