After arriving in Botswana you will fly to your home for your first three nights on safari – the stunning Lebala Safari Camp (fully inclusive) in a private concession located in the heart of Kwando Reserve’s 232,000 wilderness. Nestled discreetly on the floodplains of the Kwando River, Lebala offers tranquillity and luxury in a special ecosystem. From the comfort within your luxury tent you can enjoy unobstructed, stunning views through the unique mosquito net walls, which still allow the cooling breeze to filter through.

Lebala’s location is away from dense woodland which means that going in search of iconic wildlife is that little bit easier. The sheer variety of wildlife here is astounding and includes elephant, hippo, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, impala and of course ever-present predators such as lions, cheetah and hyena.

And for that extra special treat, why not have an intimate outdoor dinner next to a romantic fireplace… will the remainder of this trip be able to compete? Maybe, just maybe…

From Lebala you’ll take a flight into the game rich Okavango Delta for a three night stay (fully inclusive) at the charming Splash Camp within the Kwara Concession which is considered to be one of the most productive for wildlife viewing in the whole of the Delta region. So your twice daily safari activities should not be missed!

Splash Camp is one of the newest additions to the Botswana safari camp scene. Each luxury tent offers spectacular views overlooking a waterhole so you can sit back, relax and the wildlife comes to you. Splash Camp’s location close to waterways and expansive dry plains means that game drives and wildlife viewing is truly exceptional. Splash Camp provides plenty of exciting ways to enjoy your safaris, Day and night game drives, enjoyed in the company of both a guide AND tracker are very popular, with the extra set of expert eyes playing a key to an amazing wildlife experience.

Not only can you enjoy wildlife viewing by vehicle, Splash Camp offer the chance to head out on a mokoro (canoe) safari year-round. Seasonal fishing trips and walking safaris with a highly experienced guide are highly recommended.

Flying from the Okavango Delta and onwards to the last stop on your Botswana Green Season Safari is three nights Nxai Pan Camp (fully inclusive) in Nxai Pan National Park, located in the Makgadikgadi region.

The camp is settled on the edge of a huge fossil pan from which it takes its name with vast rooms overlooking the plains and it’s during the green season when wildlife viewing here is at its best. This is when the newly discovered zebra migration of Botswana passes through the area.

Activities at Nxai Pan Camp centre around morning and afternoon game drives in 4-wheel drive vehicles. Game drives here feature a guide and tracker team which can really help to maximise possible game sightings. Other worthwhile activities in the area include visiting Baines’ Baobabs famous for being immortalised by Thomas Baines’ painting. Also spending time with the San bushman tribe, learn how how they hunt, gather food and survive in the remoteness of the region.

After three nights in the amazing Nxai Pan Camp, it’s time to fly back to Maun to catch your international flights home. But this isn’t goodbye, you’ll be leaving with a yearning to return to Africa and experience the wonderful cultures, wildlife and sense of calm that spending time in the wilderness brings… and you’ll have a tonne of memories to share with your friends and family when you arrive home.
