The Haveli consists of 14 rooms including an impressive river-facing master suite, eight river-facing rooms and five en-suite rooms. As the sun rises, look out of the window for a view which could rival any watercolour painting, look below and spot pilgrims taking a dip in the renowned holy waters. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, cable television, free Wi-FI and direct dial telephones. Concerning cuisine, Suryauday Haveli will not disappoint your taste buds, it specialises in traditional vegetarian dishes and local delicacies, since meat and alcohol are not served in holy cities in India. On an evening, why not sit on the rooftop terrace and watch the small boats make their way down the crimson-lit water.
Here you can also take part in some yoga and unwind with uninterrupted views all whilst guided by a qualified instructor. Suryauday Haveli’s location makes it an ideal base for exploring the Ganges and surrounding Ghats by boat or even wander through the narrow streets of the old town.
