Ambre Mauritius is an adult only beach resort, situated along the sheltered bay of Palmar facing a white sandy beach. It features an outdoor pool, a spa, 3 restaurants and 2 bars.

The rooms vary from simple Courtyard rooms to the Ambre Suite and 6 others in between, they are all spacious, modern and contemporary. The rooms are simple in style with light décor and a few splashes of colour here and there. While the Courtyard Rooms are a comfortable choice, why not look at one of the more spacious Superior Rooms – with garden or sea views. Both the Junior Suites and Ambre Suites have a separate living room and master bedroom.

As you step into the lobby you will love the fantastic beachfront setting and chilled out friendly atmosphere, the focal point is the large infinity pool which is just steps away from the sands of the sweeping beach; the walk along the beach towards Belle Mare is an enjoyable way to while away a couple of hours.

Dining can be enjoyed at any of the resort’s three restaurants, two of which are included in the all-inclusive package. The main restaurant is the buffet venue Indigo which sits poolside and is open for breakfast and dinner. The theme at dinner changes regularly allowing for you to enjoy cuisine from around the world. An alternative evening destination is Dolce Vita, an à la carte trattoria serving home-made pastas, grilled meats and wood-fired pizzas, a selection of the restaurant’s premium dishes are available for a supplement. At the specialist restaurant La Plage, where dishes are available at a supplement, you can dine with your toes in the sand and with an ocean backdrop.

Water sports facilities such as snorkelling, kayaking and wind surfing are available. There is also a fitness centre and 2 floodlit tennis courts. Golfers benefit from free green fees and transfer to the 18-hole Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club located just a 20-minute drive from the resort.
