Located in the heart of the Selous Game Reserve, the Roho Ya Selous camp is tucked into a shady grove of trees, close to a waterway linking Lake Manze and Lake Nzerakera.
Eight spacious safari tents are kept private from one another by the forest vegetation, each with views through the trees to the hippos in the water. Each tent is vast in size, with a sliding wall hanging which separates the changing area and bathroom. Here you’ll find double basins, flush loo and an indoor and outdoor shower.
The main mess offers a blend of indoor and outdoor living, with plenty of areas to relax with a cool drink and a good book, with fireplaces for cooler evenings.
This comfortable and stylish camp offers game drives, walking safaris, boating and catch & release fishing and is ideally situated for exploring this diverse and beautiful reserve. Fly camping can also be arranged to take full advantage of the starry skis.
