Periwinkle Lodge,

Periwinkle Guest Lodge a home away from home, part of the Shell Lodges collection and is situated on Beachy Head Drive, Plettenberg Bay. It is conveniently located across the road from Robberg Blue Flag Swimming Beach. The Lodge is on 3 levels and has very good views of the Robberg Peninsula, Tsitsikamma Mountains and Sea.

Accommodation is in seven rooms, each one is light and airy, featuring twin beds that can be converted into a king size bed, apart from one which has a queen bed. All but one boast private balconies to enjoy spectacular views of the ocean. Some rooms have underfloor heating and fireplaces to stay warm in the colder winter months. Periwinkle Guest Lodge includes a rim flow swimming pool, gym, treatment room and sauna. The Periwinkle Spa is a little corner of paradise offering a variety of treatments for our inhouse guests.

Perfectly situated for leisurely walks or lazy days spent on the beach or to perfect your stopover point to explore this scenic part of the Garden Route. Near two golf courses, beautiful paths for coastal walks, Whale & Dolphin Discovery Cruises, Oyster tasting, elephant viewing, cruises to the Heads & Featherbed Nature Reserve as well as a journey on the Steam Train all make for interesting day trips. During July to September every year, Southern Right Whales migrate to this part of the Indian Ocean to calve. There are organised boat trips all year round to see Brydes whales and dolphins. Huge schools of dolphin surfing the breakers or leaping clear of the blue sea, are a regular sight throughout the year.
