An intimate camp situated in the prestigious Klaserie Private nature reserve
Gomo Gomo Lodge can be reached by air from Johannesburg to Eastgate airport in Hoedspruit, followed by a 40-minute drive to the lodge. By road, it is a seven-hour drive from Johannesburg to Gomo Gomo through South Africa’s Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces.
Gomo Gomo is one of few safari lodges which allow children to stay, making it perfect for both family holidays and for couples. The fully furnished lodges are equipped with en-suite facilities and power outlets. During the guest’s downtime in between game drives they can relax on the patio or take a dip in the pool. Guests are served breakfast and lunch in the open thatched dining room which overlooks the watering hole. In the evening the camp provides true safari ambience as dinner is served around a log fire in the boma.
The Klaserie now forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park (with a common un-fenced boundary), The game reserve is approximately 14,800 acres which offers guests a varied landscape and ample opportunities to come face to face with the Big Five. The camp has multiple safari activities including day and night game drives lead by experienced rangers in 4-wheel drive vehicles. There are also on foot safaris which provide an insight into the landscape's finer details.
