Ruacana Eha Lodge is a simple but functional spot to spend the night in Ruacana – the stopping point between visits to northern Etosha and the Kunene River
Found on the edge of the dusty frontier town of Ruacana in the far north of Namibia, Ruacana Eha Lodge is a simple but comfortable base for overnight stops in the town as you travel between the Kunene River and the northern ranges of the Etosha National Park.
Set around smartly kept lawns, there are 22 bedrooms here, all of which are comfortable with plenty of storage space and have en-suite bathrooms with basic amenities provided. Air conditioning helps to keep the cool which is very welcome as it does remain hot here throughout the year, whilst bar fridges and tea & coffee making facilities mean you are well catered for. Small private verandas at the front of each room make the perfect place to relax in the afternoons. The main area of the lodge is a large and friendly space, playing host to the lounge, bar and dining area. Meals are served throughout the day and the standard of food is very good. A small swimming pool offers welcome relief from the heat of the afternoons and there is even a gym for guests who are looking to be active.
Whilst this area is generally only a staging post to break up longer journeys, Eha Lodge is the most comfortable option in the area and somewhere guests are very comfortable during their overnight stays.
