Sited overlooking a small dam with views out to the low hills and scrubby plains of the reserve, Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp is a gem of a property – ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in the lap of luxury when spending a few nights in the reserve.

There are 9 spacious chalets here, with large en-suite bathrooms at the rear, comfortable beds and plenty of room to sit back and relax when you are in the room. At the front of each chalet there is a veranda complete with day beds which are a great spot to sit back and soak up the afternoon sunshine. A short walk from the rooms is the main area of the lodge, a huge open plan dining room, bar and lounge area where guests congregate before and after activities to share tales of their day exploring the bush. On the lawn there is a firepit area which is set up for pre-dinner drinks and the views out over the dam as the sun sets are mesmerising. The food at Bush Camp is outstanding and meals are complemented by an outstanding wine list so bring your appetite with you when you stay.

The camp offers access to the full range of activities at Okonjima, including game drives, walking trails, visits to the Okonjima Carnivore Care Programme in conjunction with the Africat Foundation and the night hide experience which offers the chance to see honey badgers and porcupines.
