Situated 7kms from the Maputo city centre along a prominent beachside avenue on Maputo beach, the Radisson Blu is a great choice if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Mozambique’s lively capital.
As you’d expect from a new hotel in the upmarket Radisson group, and standards all round are pretty high. The hotel, which is an easy transfer from the airport, has 215 modern rooms – most of which take advantage of the great views out over the Indian Ocean. There are three bars and the main hotel restaurant – the Filini – serves classic italian cuisine, alongside a wide ranging wine list.
A lot of guests are business visitors, but the Radisson is actually a great choice for leisure focused guests. It is a clean cut, contemporary city hotel, with a good range of facilities – most notably a lovely outdoor pool – and whilst the rooms aren’t that exciting, they are have upmarket furnishings and lovely views, which for a city hotel is usually all that you want.
