Traditionally- styled lodge offering comfortable tukuls and access to the Omo Valley
If you want to spend time in Hamar country, rustic and relaxed Buska Lodge is the place to go. The lodge is about 900m from the road outside remote Turmi, deep in the Omo region.
The 25 rooms are comfortable, no-frills and built in the traditional tukul design, with en-suite bathrooms. Mosquito netting is provided. Electricity is supplied from 06:30 to 22:30. There are two restaurants serving good food (try their teff pancakes with local honey). In the grounds there is an abundance of birdlife.
In addition to visiting the Hamar and Karo people while based here, guests can also go for guided nature walks along the Kaske River.
