The guest tukuls (huts) are quite simple but well tended. Their design is eco-friendly and host families are welcoming, taking care to ensure guests have a great experience. What makes the experience even more special is that funds generated from the TESFA trips, goes back to the host communities (20% is allocated to admin, 25% to guiding and 55% to the host communities).
Each site is equipped with an eco- loo and a bucket shower. In the Lalibela area especially, the TESFA sites are set on the edge of spectacular gorges or escarpments. for which the region is famed,
