See the best of the Egypt and its culture

This 8-day Egyptian adventure combines the historic wonders of Cairo with a relaxing 4-night cruise down the iconic Nile River.

After arriving in Cairo, you'll check into your hotel for an overnight stay. The next few days are devoted to experiencing Cairo's legendary sites like the Pyramids of Giza, enigmatic Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum's ancient artifacts, the medieval Citadel and mosque, and the lively Khan El-Khalili bazaar.

You'll then fly to Luxor and board a Nile River cruise boat. Over the next several days, visit the monumental Karnak and Luxor temples in Luxor, the remarkably preserved temple at Edfu, the unique double temple in Kom Ombo, and experience Aswan's High Dam, ancient Philae Temple and scenic islands via traditional felucca sailboat.

After disembarking the cruise, you'll have the option to take a tour to the magnificent Abu Simbel temples carved into a mountainside before flying back to Cairo for your final night. On the last day, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

The trip includes 3 nights in Cairo hotels, 4 nights cruising the Nile with full board meals, all tours with an Egyptologist guide and transportation, airport transfers, visa assistance and bottled water during Cairo tours. Extras like domestic flights, visas and most meals are additional costs.
