The Masai Mara is awash with sightings of a rare spotted Zebra foal.

The first sightings were photographed by tour guide, Anthony Tira of the Matira Bush Camp whilst on safari in the Masai Mara. Since the images appeared social media has been going crazy for the adorable little foal.

Speaking to the local press, Anthony said he initially thought the zebra has been painted for migration tracking purposes, but on closer inspection realised it was a rare melanin disorder.

Some locals believe the difference in colour to the rest of the herd may cause increased danger from carnivores.

So, on your next Safari trip to Kenya, keep on the look out for the lesser spotted, spotted zebra!
