The 10 en-suite rooms are simple with wooden shutters instead of curtains. There is a pleasantly refreshing swimming pool which is overlooked by the homely restaurant. Views from the property – which has a large garden full of tropical and subtropical plants and trees – are mesmerising: the great granite domes that dominate this area are impressive, extending to the Andringitra mountain chain to the south. The granite outcrops you'll see from here are the Trois Freres.
We recommend this property as an overnight stay to break the long journey between Isalo and Ranomafana National Parks and to see the inspiring community-run conservation site of Anja.
