Female led Inca Trail away from the crowds

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is Peru’s most iconic trek, blending ancient history with stunning landscapes. Guided by expert female guides, you'll explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley, uncovering Inca ruins and stunning views.

In Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire, the echoes of history resonate through its cobbled streets and original Inca walls. The city’s vibrant mix of ancient traditions and modern life makes it the perfect starting point for an unforgettable journey along the Inca Trail.

This special trek is led by experienced female guides and supported by a team of dedicated women porters, offering a unique perspective on the region’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes. The route winds through the Andes, passing remarkable Inca sites such as Runkuraqay and Sayacmarca, each revealing a piece of the civilisation’s intriguing past.

One of the trek’s defining moments is reaching Warmiwanusqa—Dead Woman’s Pass—at 4,215 metres. Here, sweeping views reward the effort, and the sense of achievement is profound. The descent takes trekkers through lush cloud forests and past the impressive ruins of Wiñay Wayna before arriving at the Sun Gate (Intipunku), where Machu Picchu emerges through the mist, an unforgettable sight.

With the guidance of expert female guides who bring personal insights and knowledge to the experience, exploring Machu Picchu’s terraces, temples, and intricate stonework becomes even more meaningful. The adventure concludes with time to enjoy Cusco at a relaxed pace, reflecting on an extraordinary journey shaped by the strength and skill of the women who make it possible.
