I’ve always been attracted to places where the horizon meets water... For me, a good beach isn’t just a destination, it’s a reset button for the mind.
Spain has been a constant thread through my wanderings, from the vibrant streets of the mainland to the laid‑back rhythms of the Canary Islands and Balearics. Gran Canaria is a second home (and yes, I’ve judged many sunsets by Canary time).
The pristine sands of the Seychelles and the pure blue of the Maldives hold an enduring place in my travel memory too, each one a reminder of why I fell in love with travel in the first place.
Away from beaches, I’ve also taken on new challenges, including running the Lewa Half Marathon, proving to myself that adventure isn’t only found under the sun, but in every personal milestone too.
Sosian Lodge & the Lewa Half Marathon
One of my most unforgettable trips combined the thrill of the wild with the personal challenge of running a Half Marathon. A few days at Sosian Lodge showed me the real heart of Kenya’s savannah. Game drives revealed giraffes, zebras, many wild dogs, each encounter reminding me why safaris are such a unique way to experience this part of the world.
After the safari, I switched pace and took on the Lewa Half Marathon, a completely different kind of adventure.
