What Do We Do To Support Our Partners?
For every traveller, we donate $50 to our partner charities. In 2024, we contributed $34,201 to three organisations, and we aim to donate $250,000 by 2028. Each year, we add new charities to our roster and, long-term, we aim to support charities in every country our clients travel to.
At Far and Wild Travel, we carefully select charity partners who align with our values of sustainability, community, and environmental protection. Our priority is to support initiatives that protect the natural environments in the regions we operate, while also empowering local communities.
As we expand our focus to include both social and environmental causes, we remain committed to the charities with whom we’ve built strong relationships, particularly those supporting female education. We recognise that protecting the planet and supporting communities go hand in hand, and we aim to partner with organisations that drive positive, long-term change in both areas.
Through these partnerships, we seek to make a tangible, lasting impact—empowering communities, conserving ecosystems, and ensuring a better future for both people and the planet.

Conservation & Community Fund
At Far and Wild Travel, we are dedicated to giving back to the places our travellers cherish. Each year, we provide financial support to conservation and community initiatives that reflect our commitment to sustainability, environmental protection, and responsible travel. Charities can apply for funding by detailing the financial support required, the specific project it will impact, and the number of people or ecosystems that will benefit. Priority will be given to projects that create a lasting positive impact by supporting both environmental conservation and community development, recognising that healthy communities and ecosystems are deeply interconnected.

Environmental commitment – Sustainability is at the heart of our mission. We seek charity partners with a strong commitment to environmental conservation and responsible practices.

Location in our destinations – We prioritise charities located in, or supporting projects in, the destinations we sell holidays to. This allows our clients to engage directly with the communities they support.

Client engagement – Charities must be open to visits from our clients. Engagement through site visits or participation in projects strengthens relationships and encourages further support.
Transparency and reporting – We require regular updates on how funds are used, including quarterly reports with updates and photos, to ensure transparency and demonstrate the direct impact of our contributions.
UK or US Presence – Charities based in the UK or US are preferred, as this allows us to invite clients to events and create stronger connections with the cause.
